FREEDOM. ART. LOVE.
About me ~
Born and raised in Whatcom County in the Pacific Northwest.
Graduated Ferndale High School in 1993, then attended WCC. Moved to Texas for college in 1994, studied visual communications and CAD. Married in 1996 briefly and have one wonderful adult son. Relocated back to Bellingham Washington in 2016. |
Following a path of design and creativity, I started in the screen printing industry in 1996. After several years of practicing all aspects of printing, I opened my own print shop in 2003 in Austin Texas. EVOLINIUM Productions grew to include an automatic press, warehouse, and full clientele as I continued to operate all aspects of the company, from sales to design to print to delivery. It was a demanding schedule and years of diligent growth. When my son went off to college I decided to sell the business in Texas and move back to my hometown of Bellingham. The woodshop is where I currently spend my free time as life permits, working to build a name locally in the art scene of the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Along the way I have gained knowledge about graphic design, computer repair, woodworking, screen printing, drafting, construction, farming, mechanics, and world history. I also dabble in web design, sign making, photography, painting, 3D animation, and music production. I strive to balance dedicated hard work with wilderness adventures. When balancing production and perfection, I sometimes lean toward the latter to a fault. I always look for ways to better a process, or to improve a product. I enjoy helping and meeting new people. When not busy designing or woodcrafting, you may find me out hiking, camping, mountain biking, disc golfing, snowboarding, scuba diving, traveling, adventuring out or just on the front porch strumming guitar. |
